SummerUK: Noooooo Easy jet fly from Stansted to Newcastle Ive done that flight a million times lol I'll check BMI too thought to Durham Tees Valley its just down the road too... THEN we can drive up to Scotland together and terrorise Pat and RDM
Thanks Sue. Then I have to synchronise times/flights from Newcatle to London on the return. It's an early'ish flight from London back to Milan, so it seems like it might be a real problem. Not normally one to shy away from a travel challenge, this, however, might really be way too tricky for the return. Also, my flight back to Australia is 2 days later, darn it.
Anyhoo, if not this time, there will always be another opportunity next year. And next time, I will know to go straight to Newcastle!
I must be getting old and boring, or summet, cos I think I might just spend the full 3 weeks in Italy, and not put anyone to all this trouble, coming out of the blue this way.Anyone got a rocking chair they can spare?
I just feel like curling up in one. And if nothing else, I now know how far out of London you live! Too bloomin far!!!

Honestly, everything in Florence at that time of the year is so many really good quality things on slae, plus lots from street/market vendors. I'm so hoping Ulimaroa can make it. She is such a gorgeous lady, not only in looks, but she just cracks me up. We spent some time here in Oz last year, really special.
