Driving home from work, being flashed by a couple of oncoming vehicles .. cops ahead dunno

Nope

Mum, Dad and eight lil ducklings waddling onto the road as the heavy traffic slowed to a stop in both directions to let them pass grin

dragondog4: Thanks for warning. Its nice to be aware.

But doesn't it make you think. How things go around in circles. They used similar tactics during the 14th century to waylay weary tactics and seperate them from their gold. When times are hard. The Poor and outcast will do what they think is good for them. To hell with law and order and societies rules.

Scary, but I dont think the threat would stop me from stopping to help.
Just the same way, the threat of possibly getting burnt wouldnt stop me from trying to rescue someone from a house on fire, or being injured on broken glass wouldnt stop me from helping someone at a car accident.

A long time ago, I stepped in a stopped three guys from kicking the crap out of another guy, and didnt consider that I might get hurt myself...which luckily I didnt. And after I stopped it, I gave them a lecture on behaviour!
And when I worked in a bar, I once broke up a fight between two Outlaw gang members...later finding out one was the Master of Arms. At the time, you just don't think about what MIGHT happen.
I dont think I could just past.. even knowing the threat, it just would never cross my mind not to try to help.

Thanks all who remembered me welcoming me back. A lot has happened since I left. I stuffed my back up properly and had to give up work straight away. Where to live as I could not afford the rent was the next hurdle. At least I had disability pension. Moved in with Poppa although I would have liked another 6mths before I made the decision. Had my op on the 21st of July and have all my lower back fused. I look like a wooden box with 6 Screws and a rod as well. Well the pain is improvong everyday. Gave up smoking and the drinkies have been cut and have lost another 12kgs.

The divorce settlement is going on but could get very dirty. I don't beleive I will end up with enough to buy accomodation. My op took over $15,000.

Anyway that is enough of me. I don't get here as much as I like. All the best everyone til next time.

Love ya's Nannateddybear

Maybe it's just me.....But I find it very off putting when guys who contact me...and say they are desperate and lonely...Sounds just a wee bit desperate...and like they would take anyone....

Where are the positive peeps?!?

I mean we all feel this way to a certain extent on any given day...But I certainly wouldn't try and hook someone with these kinds of lines sigh
