im sorry to hear you have been battling depression. a lot of people dont understand the effects of it..my dad died and i became very depressed, self destructive and also full of anger and fear. they say anger a lot of times goes along with losing a loved one but we have to learn not to take it out on others. sometimes people who go through depression become more self destructive than to lash out or hurt someone. it just depends on the person i guess. i hope you two have happier days & big huggs.. ok?

if u start once u have to take them all your life,its very dangerous even if u stop them slowly...and they don't have much effect if u drink.......

Thats true..Alcohol is a depressant, so the antidepressant pills wont work if used while drinking.. i didnt know this untill a friend told me and i found the article online.

yeah i take them about 2 years without some "good" effect,the doctor also told me people who take antidepressants don't even have to drink coffee

I think natural ways to stop depression would be better than doctors pills and are cheaper to buy. the vitamin melatonin and vitamin B are good to help rid depression. Sunlight like going out for a swim and tanning also gets natural vitamin b that helps. You need some good friends and family to take you to the beach and try to feel happy again. i know it hurts losing someone you love but they would want the best for you and to be happy not sad.. ok? huggs

Monday morning I called and made an appointment with a therapist.
I spent 3 hours on Friday purging the things I needed to rid myself of.
By the way, therapy started on my birthday.
I will always look for help when I need it.
Doctor, lawyer, Indian Chief.
House keeper, plummier and handyman.
We all need so many other people to keep us grounded.
It's when I don't know where to start is when I look within.

actually it is very strange thing-how some doctor seeing you half an hour can make put "the right diagnose"
people who can't help themselves are going to doctors... and a lot of them get even worse...some even kill themselves if the tratmennt os not good------ This thread is Archived ------
