Most forums provide a search to allow posters to query for similar questions before posting one of their own in order to reduce duplication of efforts.
Have I overlooked the search button for the forums, or has CS overlooked adding that feature?

Yep...just go to FORUM, and on the left side you will see SEARCH

Yea, it is on the left side of the page that your in, or just go to forum, and look on the left...I think it is like 6 selection down from the top of the list.

yep i use that feature but i think it could do with some options or an 'advanced search' mode where one can fine tune searches. Like current thread/all threads, my posts/responses to me/specific member/all, date range/all...

Ah, you're an old hand, Conrad, so I'll take your word for it. However, it doesn't seem like that would help very much with the original purpose stated here, i.e., screening out redundant threads.
Report threads that break rules, are offensive, or contain fighting. Staff may not be aware of the forum abuse, and cannot do anything about it unless you tell us about it. click to report forum abuse »
