mom called, my uncle passed away this morning, had a stroke and stopped breathing. he was 48, i believe...
mom wants me to still go, maybe fly home a day early, as he has to be brought home from arizona. i'm undecided as to what to do.

Well unless you were close to him don't feel like going...if he needs to be flown home it could be a few days so I would take your mother's advice and go and have a good time even for a few days doll!!!!!!!!

I would still go on the trip ... not going isn't going to change anything and I'm sure your uncle would have been happy that you were taking the time to do something for yourself and living life. Maybe as your mom suggested come home a day early .... as it will depend on when the funeral will be set for.

Well I highly doubt that you are whiny ... its called dealing with life .... so GO ON YOUR TRIP and live life and enjoy yourself. As well yes,
