I have seen first hand the pain in a persons eyes when they have lost everything (read "Pay it Forward") thread. Only a higher power can ease that loss. But friends and well wishers can certainly help.

My prayers go out to this family, I know how it feels to lose everything to a fire. They need to get in contact with red cross and also the salvation army helps people who have lost all to a fire.

Update:
The dog that was taken will be fine.
We haven't heard as of yet what the cause of the fire was yet.
I'll keep you posted if I find anything else out.

wonderful news chrissy .. glad to hear this morning that the doggy will be okay .. this family was blessed to have not been home when the fire started and the dog is blessed to have survied...

The family wasn't home at the time.
However,they have two dogs.
One got out fine,but the other one was carried out
by a fireman.
They took the dog to the vet.
It is a family of four.
The oldest child is out of school the other is a senior.
