Uh thank you for the clarification! I am not all that au fait with forum talk, so troll is a new one for me!!! I wouldn't know one if it leapt up and bit me on the bum... but now that you mention it.... hmmmmm yes can think of a few peeps with a bitta troll in them!

One could also say there are "helpers" to the OP's that are the instigators of discriminatory threads. I have noticed a particular individual who will agree with the OP (always) when the OP receives 99% negative response. Then the helper calls the opposition "attacking in packs". Even though the accused have entered the thread at different times and are unaware of other posts. And who gets banned...not the troller and not the "helper". But the people who have been insulted and were defending their beliefs.

Yeah, I have seen that too.
Just sad after 50 pages people can't figure it out and keep feeding them and in return make new threads to keep it going. It's like trying to put a fire out with gas.

For those who do not know what a troll is, let me define it so you may draw a parallel to perhaps a poster or two.
Trolls will find an offensive or borderline offensive subject matter and use it to piss people off. 99% of the time they do not even believe what they are posting. They simply do it to have a laugh at your expense when you respond t them.
The trolls I have seen here are mild and not very creative or clever and are playing quite a number of people here like a virtuoso.
By giving the troll attention and debating with them, you are giving them the laugh they want. And it is YOU they are laughing at. You are not debating or proving any points by wasting your time and effort with a 4 paragraph response to the troll.
Ignore them and they go away.
