Hi everyone, I just wanted your opinion on this subject as I notice that there are many of you online everyday. I don't mean to offend by this post but am just interested why you are here and why you are not out in the fresh air enjoying the day or night and meeting real people (no offence but who know's who is who online) . Also, do you find that CS is taking over you life....be honest now!

wave Hey..i do normally visit daily..and yes it is an escape from reality for me. For personal reasons.
I come here to post on the forums, have a giggle...and try to forget other things i have on my mind.
I have no shame in it at all.

I do have a life outside of CS......when my children are in bed, or at school..its me time.

I like chatting and keeping up with the friends I have here, as a break from RL. It is a way to talk with people my own age, and a way to participate in conversations.

I am not out in the fresh air a lot, because I have arthritis and it is cold. I work from home, so I take breaks and come on here instead of getting in the car to go drink a coffee some place else.

me too, and I work from home. I use the CS Forums to entertain myself and to kill time.

being on CS all the time, to me is better than getting in trouble or going out and spending money.

That's easy to answer. Most of us are arrested-development bed-wetters still in diapers, and being looked after and fed by mummy. If you ever met any of us on a date, you'd be horrified, and if the date lasted longer than half an hour, we'd be asking you to change us. Now would you kindly stop asking embarrassing questions!...

doh

There is not a cat in hells chance of an online forum taking over my life.Once in a while I may form a new friend from it,or even have the odd date/meet up with someone from it.But that is simply because I am free and single and I do have options that many others have not due to personal commitments and issues.
But I do think also that online dating can become like a drug for some and there is no rehab for it!
