And what's wrong with strong words? Do you HATE strong words? What did strong words ever do to you?
Should I have said, "I dislike Southern accents?" Whatever. The fact is I HATE Southern accents. They are like scraping nails on a blackboard, to me. Especially those really nasally twangy ones.
What do I hate about them? The way they sound. Some people think they sound good, some people think they sound bad. I'm one of the people who think they sound bad.
Don't freak out when people have opinions that don't suit the "popular crowd." It shows lack of tolerance for different points of view.
You are making a ant out of a mole's hill, I number 1, didn't mean to upset you in any way I just asked a guestion, your opinion bothers me, but, I did ask why, and I will leave it at that, number 2, my mother was just as special to me as your is to you, be proud of your mother as I am mine. She also was a true southern woman and I will be also, and as sounding stupid, I will leave that alone, the fact that you don't know me, and I was just getting opinions on the subject didn't mean to step on your toes dear.
