Thoughts are like clouds floating by...if you wish to think one just allow it to take up space in your mind, if not let it float by and just be conscious as each moment passes...be here now
If you let a particular thought to take up residence then you are tied to the past as it takes you out of the stream of cosmic consciousness which is in the here and now. JMHO
