tomcatwarne: Lately I've noticed the term "misandry" being used indiscriminately to describe any language or policy that is perceived as being unfair to (or disparaging of) traditional masculinity or men. There's just one problem with that: that's not what misandry means. Misandry is hatred or contempt for men. Using hyperbolic and exaggerated language when it's not warranted has the effect of defining real hatred/contempt for men down. It's precisely the kind of "shaming language" feminists have used for decades to discourage debate and discredit opposing viewpoints without the tiresome necessity of actually having to demonstrate why they're wrong.

I think we have come a long way in the last 50 years,hope i live 50 more to see the changes.Life is a wonderful thing,its takes humans a while to learn and get it right,hopefully we will in the next 50.What do you think???

The feminist thing burst onto society with one heck of a chip on its shoulders and understandably so, it all seems to calming down now that many of the main issues have been or at least are being, addressed
