LadyBlackAdder: Recently read 2 David Baldacci books "The Camel Club" and "The Collectors" - both excellent and I will read more of his books.
Am reading "Committed" by Elizabeth Gilbert at the moment. She is the auther of "Eat, Pray and Love". In a way this is a sequel to that as it deals with her relationship with Felipe, who she meets in Bali in "Eat, Pray and Love". It deals with western attitudes to commitment and marriage and the changing face of marriage in the modern world.
If you get a chance, you should check out The first family, divine justice and split second. All great books by David Baldacci
darren9030: Going to watch that film in about an hour Vinny. Anyone seen it yet ? Not read the book btw as only read travel books ..
Yep Darren I have both films and I found them good. The acting isn't brilliant but they are as close to to book as I've seen. Too mnay movies deviate from the story line but this one doesnt. I enjoyed it as I have read the books, but it will be interesting to hear your viewpoint.

I am really enjoying them Vinny...to the point of addiction lol, Think I will be in severe withdrawal when I finish them.Should have the last one finished by the weekend. I thought Dan Browne was okay, I have read four of his books. I got fed up of the whole illuminati business after a while though :) Probably back to Baldacci after I finish " The Girl who kicked the Hornets' Nest".

That's good as I just bought Split Second in a charity shop. I missed The First Family as I was unsure about it and it was gone when I went back but will look out for it again and Divine Justice. Am looking for Stone Cold as well as it's the next in the same series as The Camel Club and The Collecters.

Very good film. Love films with a twist & this certainly kept you on the edge of your seat right until the end. Not sure if it was based in any way on a true story .
Grace Kelly......Her life and loves by Jane Ellen Wayne
A very revealing look at her life which shattered any illusion i had of her before i read this. She had more men than hot dinners from waiters to Royalty.
As good a book as I have read in a long time. Professor of languages in Switzerland picks up a book in a book shop and becomes completely intrigued by the writing and the author. He heads to Portugal to find out more about the man who wrote the book. The book he's reading is extremely insightful about human nature and the mind. It deals with religion, loneliness, love, friendship, betrayal. As one of the testimonials in the front of the book put it 'A treat for the mind'
