Honestpersondublin, Dublin Ireland11 Threads 69 Postsit was said first love never dies,people have different point of view about this but i remember first girl in my life when she was with me ,she was everything to me and i used to think i would die without her but then things gone changed we both moved on with our own lifes.it did hurt in start but life never stops,i met with the 2nd and after some time i had same feelings for her what i had for the first one
maybe they were more strong,i still remember the first girl, is it because she was my first love?

i think 1st love, 2nd love, 3rd love ... are always the same, perhaps when you get older and more mature, your love for someone will change not be the same with the fisrt love, and if you used to think you would die without her, then the next love, you will ask yourself not to be the same like that way, it was just a foolish thought, but really the 2nd love is not weaker than 1st love, just because you also hv many experiences in love, then will try to defend yourself from not being hurted so much because of love anymore, and anothing is rather important for your life is that if you are with 2nd love, your thoughts should not stay with 1st love anymore, just let 1st love have gone and remain only as a pure friendship, (if for me, definately, no come back to the ex again, broken mirror cant be made whole again) then you will hv a complete happiness with the 2nd love, 2nd lov will be everything to you, as it is your future, your true love,...

I agree in that the first love never stops...but I have to disagree in that it doesn't always have to hurt. Unfortunately for me my first love came at a time when I needed her as my best friend and I guess in a sense that may be why I never forget her.
I often wonder where she is or what she has done in life, but I never think about what could have been had we never parted ways. I hope she is living a life of happiness & that all the dreams of her life are coming true. I hope she has a husband that treats her well and kids that love her endlessly. I know a little about her such as where she lives, but I've never written to her to let her know how much of an impact she had on my life and in a sense, I think that is something that I want for me only anyways.
She'll always mean the world to me and will always be someone that I'd fight to the ends of the earth for. She'll always be the friend I always needed and always be there for me even if she doesn't realize it. It's been 14 years since I've said anything to her but I remember as clearly as it was tomorrow, the kind of person she was and in a sense, she is still that friend that is always there for me because alot of times I will ask myself, what type of advice would Debbie give you? and that answers alot of the questions that I pose to myself.
Love for someone this special in your life is never lost just as long as you give them a place in your heart that no other could ever have.

Maybe I suppress deep inside what I feel /felt ...or I never admitted to myself ...did I ever love .. I guess I have ...but Im far too stubborn to realize ....maybe it wasn`t love at all...
