Just had another thought as well, depending on numbers we could also have lunch at one of the fine eateries here such as Mangrove Jacks which for those who arent aware of it it is on Coffs Creek

Yeah, if I make the trip, I'll do a weekender.. so I'll have to put the cats into the cattery and oraganise somewhere for Shortie

thank you both for your input and nice to know you are both considering.After 11 years of meeting people via the net and not always dating sites I am looking forward to such an event.

We had a great time
there was about 10 of us altogether. Then we all got together a day or two later and went up the coast for a day at the beach with our kids.We debated via the thread when, where and so forth.. then set up a sign up event thread ... and it just all goes from there.

Yeah, that's what I thought which is why I posted here first before going to the next step.There arent alot of people in the Coffs area on here but with Kempsey, Grafton and other area's around there might be a few interested which is why I thought a lunch venue might be the go.

Mangrove Jacks ( which is also licensed ) has a website and a menu online and maybe with the way the weather has been an undercover venue may be more practical..

i for one am def interested, i am not sure school holidays would be the best time though, maybe after the xmas holidays when the kiddies have returned to school . hope you get quite a few people interested in this and i look forward to hearing more about it.

If we wait till after the holidays that would make it some time in February ... am thinking Saturday 12th of Feb and heading towards a luncheon at Mangrove Jacks.

Hi everyone, I have been thinking of holding a get together on the North Coast.
I was thinking of a day time event such as a BBQ on the foreshores ...
Is anyone else interested ?
When would be a good time as in: before the school holidays,during school holidays or in the New Year ?
Any weekend is fine with me so if I get an idea of numbers etc we can get this happening ..
