At the time there was a civil war in my country ,they have used the fact that Yugoslavia was a multi ethnical ,multi national and a multi cultural country .Speeches full of hate toward the other religion,nations and cultures was all over the media,Pretending that they care for their own people ,they put guns in to our hand ... at the end the elite were richer , a lot of people were mutilated,killed ... children have been left without parents..poverty ,hunger etc etc ...
So my bet would be on creating fear and making more money for a group of people

yep, during the ottoman empire ... All the Bosnian muslims are in fact converted Serbs ... nowadays, we have Muslims who convert to Christianity ... probably due to the to surrounding

Of course,the same tendencies can be found throughout the whole Western,Christian sphere....
Now,of course,-people worldwide do convert back&forth,-and that is nothing new....
But if we focus on Christ./Islam,-I´m really surprised and curious for the reason(s)....
What are the reason,that so many tend to adapt Islam?
I´m not gonna use the terms Christianity or Islam,-but rather NT and Quran,as they´re the platforms for theses faiths.
What does Quran provide a convert that NT don´t?
What makes Mohammed more "attractive" than Jesus?
As both faiths are monotheistic,and "having" the "same" God,-why even bother to convert?
As the "goal" for both faiths are the same,-a life post mortem,-why convert?
Or is there a simple answer to it,-converting out of secular reasons?
It often strikes me,when I talk to converts,that hardly none ever read the Bibble or attended Church while they still where Christians.As a matter of fact,none of ´em where even believerts...
But adapting Islam changed them dramatically,-from atheists to believers,-well,at least in public....I recently spoke to a convert,-he was about to become Imam,-and he hardly even knew Pauli....
He has to,-no NT,no Quran.....
Or can it be,that convertations are based on completely different thing´s?
For love of a partner,for getting attention,substitution for an empty life?Or out of conveniance,-as Quran is "easier" to understand than NT?Just curious....
