Mnowsa - you are intelligent and must understand the threat people feel they are under from the radicals in Islamic society. It is the radicals that people have a problem with, not the mainstream. With the high conversion rate to Islam there are more chances of more radicals and that is what people are worried about. The radicals want to change the way of life of non-muslims, and of course we are seeing terrible violence in areas where they are most radical. A peaceful, moderate muslim is a joy to be friends with.

What makes Mohammed more "attractive" than Jesus?
As both faiths are monotheistic,and "having" the "same" God,-why even bother to convert?

It often strikes me,when I talk to converts,that hardly none ever read the Bibble or attended Church while they still where Christians.As a matter of fact,none of ´em where even believerts...
But adapting Islam changed them dramatically,-from atheists to believers,-well,at least in public....I recently spoke to a convert,-he was about to become Imam,-and he hardly even knew Pauli....
He has to,-no NT,no Quran.....

Islam is the biggest enemy of Western ethics and systems and so the Left naturally gravitates towards them, regardless of the fact that Islam is both anti-gay and anti-woman, two major issues that the left professes to care about.

why not feasible, wow? it seems, according to some people like you, all the people, EXCEPT muslims of course, in this world have pretty much agreed upon the fact that islam and muslims are evil and terrorists. According to some people like you, the whole world has managed to reach a consensus that islam/muslims are the only source to all the problems in the world. In other words, islam and muslims have become a 100% liability for this world and all its non-muslim population. So, if the much-vaunted and the much-desired consensus is there among all the non-muslim people that islam/muslims are causing ONLY problems for this 'peaceful' world, then why the solutions, that i prescribed in my earlier post, are not feasible? what seems to be the problem here?

But for the sake of debate, let's just say it is the 'evil' islam..i mean the 'idea of islam' in its entirety. And yes, the idea of islam it is.
