expectations (39)

Some are simple;
to be loved, and to love.
Others want much more;
riches, beauty and much more besides.
Others still want the impossible,
a child when the time is long past.
Others just want instant gratification with no strings attached.
Others still just expect to come in here to make friends and enjoy the forums, hopefully without personal insults! (and that dont sound all that bad to me either!)

Mine is:
I expect to one day find someone who not only wants to share their life with me, but also to allow me to share my life with them.
To discover our differences and work out a common ground.
To live a life together but allowing space for each other to still be an individual, as we always remain individuals first
.
I dont expect someone to want to change me, I dont expect someone to put their own goals on me. I have goals of my own.

I am happy to wait for this, and not worried if it doesnt happen.

I am me, in charge of my own destiny, not reliant on someone for my future.
