I viewed your profile. I think you need to be a little more assertive mate. I realize you are new and not sure what to do. I think you have taken a great step and posted here. The key is marketing yourself. Blogs and forums, do profile reviews etc. the more you interact and become active, the more you will get exposure.
Blogs and forums are a great way for people to see a more rounded view of you. Even just commenting does a great deal.
Make sure you read someones profile entirely. I know many are here to just do the blogs and forums, and they don't want to become involved with anyone.
Just some tips that I hope will help.

The key is marketing yourself. Blogs and forums, do profile reviews etc. the more you interact and become active, the more you will get exposure.
