It goes both ways....it's not exclusive to gender or race
Sometimes it's just a case of fear...fear of being hurt so they hurt the other first.
Sometimes, the person doesn't realize that is what they are doing

It's just like anything else in life, if you gain something too easily you don't show proper gratitude and respect for it. Where as when you've had to work hard for it then you do.

This is a very interesting comment. So, in the men's view a good girl is an easy available one, and the bad girl is not. But it is often thought to be other way round, that the bad girls are easy come, easy go. Could you elaborate?
