JeanMarlow: ...would indicate that women should marry men from 5 to 10 years younger, and men, it follows, should marry women 5 to 10 years older. Does anyone have a problem with that? That is, of course, if you want to grow old together and women don't want to spend the last 10+ years of their life alone.

that suited me perfectly....when I was 20 ...grin

RDM59: Men prefer to slip away early, although it may not seem like it, they really have heard, taken in and understood all the same regurgitated gossip and stories over the many years.

Now please, just let us go quietly, gracefully and politely .....
My SO is 5 years younger. When the kids are all grown and settled, we are off to see the world. Not filling our lives with gossip or TV or slipping away gracefully....but for those who want to, enjoy....handshake

It is more like that men just can't handle it....they need coddling. Men who are married, actually live longer. Why? Because they have someone to take care of them. scold tongue
