JeanMarlowMiddle of Nowhere, California USA17 Threads 815 Posts...would indicate that women should marry men from 5 to 10 years younger, and men, it follows, should marry women 5 to 10 years older. Does anyone have a problem with that? That is, of course, if you want to grow old together and women don't want to spend the last 10+ years of their life alone.

G'day possum.I have just recently proposed to my new TV, she said yes and the engagement party is next weekend.
She is a bit larger than the model I usually go for but I truly think I will be very happy this time round.....

I think women live longer because they take better care of themselves and because they deal with life's problems better. Something I read said that elderly women have a lot of friends, to share problems with, do be social with, to get exercise with, etc. Whereas elderly men have few friends and so (if they are single) don't have anyone to talk to, don't have anyone to go for walks with, etc. They don't deal with aging as well as women.------ This thread is Archived ------

Men prefer to slip away early, although it may not seem like it, they really have heard, taken in and understood all the same regurgitated gossip and stories over the many years.
