does anyone know whats the amount of ciggs you can bring home after being abroad?
thats a 200 carton/sleeve...
was told in holland last year i could bring back 8 cartons of 200 but dont think thats right.......

as far as i remember its 400 a person but you can get more then that home without being stopped

just hear 800 is the limit, that was on the blackmarket ireland prog

just got my answer... watching blackmarket ireland and they just said by law one can bring back 800 non duty paid ciggerates.. thats 4 cartons of 200.
good to know.. as only 20 euro a carton abroad.. where as here its 85 euro.. what a huge huge difference... RIP OFF IRELAND!!!

That's non duty. But how much can you bring back when you've paid duty in the Netherlands?

I remember in Spain, the cigs in the shops with duty were cheaper than the duty free at the airport and at that time you could bring as much as you could carry for personal use.

not anymore hon... things for personal use are long gone...
we have too pay dearly for our habits these days..
eventually after the water charges come into force.. we will then have to pay for the air we breath once we step outside our own front doorfrustrated crying

I think its 400, but I dont know for sure
You would be better off to but rolling tobacco, 50 grammes for 3 euro and that would last you a week if you were a heavy smoker, I used to get 2 sleeves in Gran Canaria every year for 60 euro and that would last me a year until the next trip over
