I like a bit of romance myself but I'm afraid women have become a bit too hard nowadays. Feminism appears to have thrown out the baby with the bathwater.sigh

I really dont agree, Im very independent and know a lot of independent women who wld luv some romance in their lives:) I think men make too many assumptions and give up way too easily...sry but that just my opinionhug

I just get the idea that women are now so fiercely independant they have no need for a man!We are seen as half a mortgage payment. Men wouldn't give up so easily if some of these women would at least make an attempt to meet them half way! JMHO

if they keep holding it back its just going to get boring and plain there be no spark no life in it whatsoever

vinny1967: I agree with your point on talking and listening but I have to say I dont agree with the point that most people are shallow.
Maybe I'm naieve or just plain stooopid but I dont see that.

Not at all, you are neither naive or stupid, its the way we are built as humans...there is a shallow aspect to all of us....its just the way we are...its human nature i think.
BTW I'm an optimist by nature....despite what may be thought of my post. laugh
