They come down to protest against their rulers. Are they a group of just whining people ? or they are patriots who what to see their country improved ? Everyone has a voice to protest and complain about whats wrong.Its not going to make them less patriotic .

I don't discourage those who complain about a problem that truly exists. But I would speak out about those who are anti-American and/or anti-West. A person doesn't become anti-"an entire system" if all they're wanting is to improve it. I discourage and speak out against prejudice & bigotry when possible.

The "problem" part is entirely perceptional . What you find normal will be chocking to others . Its would be a good eye opener if you can get an external view point and that should not be discouraged .What is projected though your media on whats going on this part of the world is not entirely true .The media is always prejudiced to project the accepted polices of decision makers who can make or break them . There is a lot of resentment in Mid East and south east Asia about uncalled interference of western forces here. There are lot of lives destroyed here . That part is largely unknown to many . If someone exposes that part its not prejudice . Opposing it is prejudice. If you discourage that as hate then you are simply trying to make darkness by closing your eyes .Let people express their views , something will be hateful something will be friendly. Its a good learning for all of us to understand what others think about each other

I think many of us know that what's projected through the media isn't all truth. But neither are all the perceptions that bring about the resentment in mid & southeast Asia. A lot of those are caused by propaganda by others(non-westerners) with their own agenda.There were a lot of lives destroyed there(mostly through murder) before any "western" anybody(forces or civilians) went there.
(Saddam liked having the world believe he was using money given to Iraq for baby formula as it was intended. But it wasn't. Not only did it not go to babies, it didn't even go towards improving the country. Every day buildings, gymnasiums, etc. were crumbling, while Saddam was building more luxurious palaces for himself-among other things). ...I saw it.

You also should not discourage external viewpoints about India, nor should other areas discourage them concerning their part of the world. They deserve a good eye-opener just like anyone else.But that is not what has occurred through most of this thread. A lot on here have been unfounded accusations.

Egypt,Libya,Syria,North Africa the Middle East countries,they have heredity rulers,Kings,Sheihs,etc,and long time not democratically elected ones,like Qaddafi,Asand in Syria,Mubarak an ex in Egupt,and so on,been for a long time on their throne,and haven't realise it was time for change.-Those rulers are looking primarely their own interests,how to amassed a fortune,and how to pass the rulling of their country to their heirs,not their citizens. Thats why the people protesting,because is not a fair distribution of the countries wealth.-Billions,and mansions in every big city and banks in the west,those rulers have.- Has it ever occurred to you??? how those people have amassed so much wealth???

Freed lately from what???we only freeing criminals when their jail sentences is over,people demonstrate now and then against the economics and stractural reforms required.Bankruptcy has been avoided for the time beeing,as we follow the IMF+EU guidelines.We have a supporting role within NATO forces in the Libyan campaign,and all our western bases,with proximity to Libya,are available to Nato forces.-

From my earlier post about Libya,advocated military action against Qaddafi.- US is a NATO country,and as such, is unthinkable not to support the NFZ directly,Germany supporting it indirectly,also a NATO member,by saying am supporting it in principal,but am not allowing my Arm Forces to take part.

You have about as much say in what your armed forces does as they do considering they are all forced to serve anyhow, unlike the US which is all volunteer.

Now that NATO has taken over, will your Prime Minister, George Papandreou, continue his support of Libya in an indirect way only....why is Greece so determined to be involved indirectly? Is it politically and economically based?

Militarys the world over are common in that they are a dictatorship run by the government and represented by the head of the armed forces.
Hence, to answer you strange question in that the above is obvious, is to state once again that in Greece, some are drafted and thus, removing all choice whereas in the US, Canada and other countries, they are free to join or not join - and, request and receive a release from service.

There is discontent with some corrupted policians and puplic servants, protected by laws,and not going to jail,but i don't think,it will go far enough,as uprising like the Middle East.
