instead of chat you can message people, delete scam mail we all get those. Instead of been bored join in the interesting forums, that way you get to know a little about others, the issues they are trying to share views on etc, and above all no deep breathing allowed, hehe

WindinherhairCAS: Hello everyone... I am not sure if I am doing this right? I think I learned the blog,, but rattled on way too long... ha ha.. but trying to figure out why I get emails of scams, and not from real.......real.... live breathable men??? I thought you can have a personal chat on this site, but I can only seem to get to the chat room.. What is up... I can just keep doing it this way and emailing with no responses.. Tips to navigate might help me out...Please!! I find myself board and playing games instead.

IMs are turned off, so no one-on-one conversations any more that way. Only chat room and forums. Thanks

Forums are your best bet to get to know people and relate to them. You can use e-mails for one to one conversations then. Or you can use search, for finding people in the category you want, and then send them a flower or mail, and see what happens.

Mess with the scammers heads,never give out personal information.It mostly is a con game were they want money,I had a lady that wanted money and my info but I insisted I would mail it to her(might have been a man)They gave me a PO box and I mailed them my dogs doo doo, I never heard from them again and they deleated their profile.

Too funny, Mastic!! Hey wow, my brother inlaw and Niece and nephews live in Mastic.. I was there a couple of years a go when my baby sister passed. I got to visit the beach,,, it was her fav place to go.. Def, different road ways there than here.. you spit and you are in another town.. haha

Heya wind. There is instant messaging in chat and also a cam/ audio option in IM as well, however, the system is glitchy and it may take a few goes to get through to a person.
You need to make sure IM settings are set to 'on' and adjust who can contact you in this manner also.
This is done via the mail page. In the left hand column is a tab for IM settings. Do not confuse it with IM requests.
Click it, set it to on and anything else. Then you can IM someone when they come into chat .... hopefully. You can also click the im tab on someones profile to IM them if they're online at the time of viewing.
Site admin had techies in to overhaul the IM system but I don't think they've finished and if they are, then the system is unstable. Just keep trying imo.

IM's are working, but they're glitchy. Pot luck I'm afraid.
