I put the blame on both sides. They don't have anything to lose. They still get paid no matter what.

This whole stupid and silly mess reminds me of two little boys fighting over a toy.Guess who's the toy?

WE always will be.They're to stupid to realize that it's going to cost alot more to shut down the government then they believe in their sick little minds it will.

You know I get so tired of both parties trying to shove ALL the responsiblity for the reasons of our country being in the mess we're obviously in on each other. It's obvious they're not men and women enough to accept the blame themselves.

I'll say it again and again and a hundred tinmes over if I have to.

It took both sides to get us in the messes we're in and it's going to take both sides of getting us out.

I'm going to be very blunt here with the truth and I don't really care if anyones likes or wants to hear it or not.

You want to know who's actually to blame for the way things are it's ALL of us for voting these people into office.
We're the ones who pay their wages out of our hard earned wages right.Myb e if we all quit voting maybe they'll get the message and will show them all just who they really and truly work for.

We should have a sit down. It's about time we took our country back.

well abortions shouldn't be legal. 1)it is going against what the bible says.2) there are other options like adopting, 3)our tax dollars shouldn't be used to help with abortions. the unborn have rights too

i would like to say also that this nation and world is going down the tubes when people think about themselves rather then thinking about others. also there are too m any people who forget or choose the ignore whether a person lives or dies and the worth of those who cannot stand up for themselves like in the case of the unborn.

I so agree with this both parties had rather fight like children then to grow up and think about what is best for the nation. They dont really seem to be thinking about how many people and lives could be affected by this.

They never really have cared about anything that affects for along long long long time.

Why would they care they only lose votes. We can lose everything we own and then some.

Thalassa: What I mean is that legislation does not bring about a morality in an individual. Morality comes from within, from how we are raised or how we are shaped in our lives. No law can make me moral, it can only hold me back from acting on my otherwise immoral impulses (if I was so inclined).

Right to the first part. However laws preventing certain actions are noting but placing one person's morals on the rest. Wether we like it or not. There for legislating morality is done every day. bouquet

kidatheart: For some it's always about their agenda, pushing it from any and every angle they can, damn the consequences to anyone else.

Thankfully the right wing Christian fanatical fascists are a minority in the US, and elsewhere. The sad part is they can bring an entire country to a halt, trying to shove their beliefs down EVERYONE else's throat. They should be ashamed of themselves, but instead, they're smug in the fact that they can get away with making others suffer for their cause, even if those people don't believe in it.

Precisely, H. It's political extortion and they truly should be ashamed. Sadly, however, they will feel no shame for this.

i totally resent u calling christians radicals and terrorists. it's people like the very very very far left who is trying to make this great nation a secular one. i suppose if u had your way anybody who is a christian should be placed in concentration camps. it would be great to get a apology. i am a christian and darn proud of it. u know what made this nation way back then? answer; god, guts and firearms. also i refuse to be on here anymore. good day!
