I emigrated many years ago and very few dogs lived inside... but now it has turned around many more live inside than out.
once again they have evolved to to be where they want to live.
I am talking about the greater majority, they have made sure we cannot happily live without them they fill a need.
When my ex left me I had nobody except my wonderful dogs! my Golden Retriever never left my side he was there when I cried with despair he was not forced to watch over me.... he did it because he adored me and hated to see me so distressed, my dogs kept me going.
Dog is God backwards and if there is a God I am sure he put these remarkable animals on this earth to watch over us with a love and devotion that is pure and innocent and unlike any other.
Soppy I know cant help it.

I had a collie who always knew when my son who was a type 1 diabetic was going to have a hypo, he would sit beside him and would just keep staring at him and pawing him with his front foot. The dog was never wrong. My son would have a hypo every time. He truly watched over my son.
Its a wonder the family lawcourt lawyers haven't found a way of profiting from pets losses

You really are a lovely guy...now to complete the set maybe you could get a one of those poor little dogs on death row.
Thats one thing you can be sure of ...complete love and utter devotion as you know with Charlie.
