whowhatwherewhen: Perhaps thats why he waited until now to do it. I read on here he has known since August last year where Osama was. Maybe he wants to keep it fresh in everyones mind for the election.
I don't think he would wait just to suit the election. JMO He wanted justice for the American people and everyone else from around the world that was killed in 911. When you got the good chance to do it, you don't wait. No one really knows how it unfolded except for him and the higher ups.

The President said that last August he was told that the Intelligence had an idea where bin Laden was. The President said make sure before we do anything. He was told today that they knew for sure where he was so they sent in Navy Special Forces. There was a fire fight and 4 people were killed. Osama and 4 associates. Osama was shot in the head at least once. Special Forces has his body.

That's right Snuggs....he may have had an idea back in Aug. but it took until today to know for SURE his exact location so they could get the job done and not fail. And obviously it took some good planning.

Bin Laden's death is just an iconic victory .Will not change anything posative on the ground . Alquida will come out of it very soon Bin Laden has not been in charge for long . The world will see more brazen attacks for sure . Its not a thing to celebrate at all. lets hope for peace and pray for that.
