I think it's your motives that are important. If you're being honest to be helpful and clarify a situation then that is fine. If however, you are honest primarily to hurt or humiliate someone then that is wrong.

Personally if I wasnt going to be honest I would say/post nothing. There are times when I almost sit on my hands to stop myself lol.

honesty is good for me but sometime i can be way to honest with people and it gets me into trouble.
