I agree with Princess's views on this and her example was an actual relationship.
For me, on this site for example...i have had chemistry with some thru chat/email but no connection. Due to several factors...distance being the biggest hurdle.

I happen to see it the opposite Puck...
I feel a certain "connection" to those that i form relationships with here...more of a meeting of the mind, beautiful long conversations and such...
But for me to feel "chemistry" i would have to actually be in that person's physical presence...

I've had a chemical reaction to someone...it was a very strange feeling. Nothing came of it. The only reason that it didn't progress was due to the lack of a connection. (or me being shy). I think that the chemistry was so intense and I was so shocked by it that without even knowing it I removed myself from the situation. I wish I hadn't. Who knows it may have become a connection.

I actually did think you meant that...but on the off chance...
i have met some cool people on here...two i met in person and are friends.
thing is, the ones i feel a connection with are serioulsy....prairies, mountains, lakes and miles away. it is starting to bug me..

As i've said..i've been on the forums for a long time...but on the int'l forums...made heaps of awesome friends...some i also got to meet..and spend time with...but that's just it..they had to go back home to their "lives"...
And it started to bug me too that all the people i know were from the States really...and i was missing the "human" companionship...
and as odd as it may sound...it did depress me at times...its not like i could have just jumped in my car and drive to them spur of the moment...

Went out with someone...and it was a very enjoyable "date"...and definitely the "chemistry" was there...but i don't think there was any "connection" there...as much as i thought he was a great person, I can't really see myself with him somewhere in the future...does that make sense to anyone??
...or anyone else experience this??
