I don't think you should go. At least take some time out and come back refreshed? It often works, my friend.
There are numpties here, for sure (and perhaps I'm one of them.... who knows?), but there are some decent folks too. Give yourself a break and come back less jaded?

I suspect I could be considered one of the forum numptys in many ways as I will sometimes argue both sides of the coin or use humour (ok I have a odd sense of humour so does not always appear humourous). I do this sometimes to mke a point. I certainly do not go out of my way to be offensive or insult people. But with everyhting in life there is more than one way of looking at things as everybody has a different viewpoint on things. This does not mean I try to stir things up as will only ever argue what I believe but this could be both for and against on the same subject. I always believe the middle ground is the best option, not because it is an easy option but because it gives a more balanced view on the world around us instead of having a one sided opinion.

Some folks like myself come to the site for some much needed banter,dont take this place so seriously and rise above those folks that dont know any better,all folks here see things differently.it would be kind of boring if we were all the same,dont give up on the site..

I was being nice and there was nothing I could have said that would make him reconsider as he seemed the type that once his mind is made up about something, there is no changing it.
So far there have been no other incidences with things being turned on while I'm out
