A bit sad and tiring actually.

My 9 1/2 year old companion isn't getting any better and the vet is preparing me for the worst.

Day started good by having my new (second hand) fridge/freezer delivered ... my old one had been given to me and I thought the motor was going to explode last Summer with the high heat and trying to keep cool. The casing of it got so hot that it burned your hand if you touched it!!! Thought I'd better not put it through another Summer laugh

Weeded my vege patch almost ready to put in the new eco plants for summer garden and few herbs applause

Also, the guy who delivered the fridge (his wife's second hand furniture business) turned out to be a builder/roofer so sending me a quote for doing the roof on my house which means I won't need an umbrella indoors next winter!!! applause

Great day!!! teddybear

Very interesting actually, though I thought I was going to bored to tears.

I was taken on a field trip by some students of mine to a water treatment plant and I was amazed at the different processes involved in order to make our municipal water clean.

The highlight of the visit was seeing the neighbouring lagoons housing endangered species of ducks which the plant has created with the residual water.

Well, it's been a while since I posted so let me start by saying to those that have older dogs....it is tough, I went through it(mine was 17 at the time)and well, my heart goes out to you both...

This has been a busy week and I thought I would have my usual Thursday to clean my house, but it seems most of that is taken up visiting a summer camp...Seems they are honoring Seniors and a bunch of us are going to help them out....
Guess I will really have to buckle down and get my house cleaned just before I go to bed!
Hope you all are having a great day!wine
