MORNING ALL CS FELLOWS.
THIS IS SOMETHING NOW THAT HAS COME TO BE A PRIORITY!
THE CLASH OF THE TITANS OCCURS FROM TIME TO TIME AND
IN THE END IS RESOLVED.
NOTE THAT PERSOAL ATTACKS HAVE TAKEN PLACE ON A REGULAR
BASIS RECENTLY.
I AM ONE OF THE RECIPIENTS OF THIS. NOT WHINGING OVER IT.
IF WE GO TO THE FORUMS WE TAKE WHAT IS DISHED OUT AND IF
WE DO NOT LIKE IT THEN WE SAY OUR PIECE AND AVOID IT.
WELL SOME DO.
THE HEAT AND THE KITCHEN COMES TO MIND HERE.
MOSTLY ITS A GREAT PLACE TO MEET FRIENDS AND HAVE A LAUGH.
LATELY ITS GOING DOWN THE TUBES AND WONDER IF POSSIBLE TO
RETURN IT TO ITS FORMER STATUS.
ANY COMMENTS ON THIS THREAD.
I AM NOT REPLYING TO THEM AS TIRED NOW FROM DOING MY DUTY.
IF NEGATIVE THEN PLEASE DO NOT POST ON THIS PARTICULAR THREAD.
THANKS. wave

tip hat

When we post comments on topics we understand that our opinion may not be the same as another persons and this should lead to a logical and civil discussion, not ridicule or derogatory attacks on the person that posted them. There is a diverse mix of personalities and characters that frequent the forums and this will inevitably lead to strong feelings and emotive words been tossed about to further enrage personal conflicts.

I too would like a return to the more peaceful and tolerant times.

I came here, because a friend told me that everyone is very nice and the UK forums are lots of fun. I haven't been disappointed and made a few friends. I agree with Sail, that they are going into the same problem the international Forums have had.

We all have the right to express our opinion, but to do so and attack others, is just wrong. We are supposedly adults and should be able to hold discussions in a civil, yet fun manner. If someone can't do that, then they have no real right participating in "Adult" conversations.

Hi Sail

It takes all sorts I suppose, some folk just seek attention, some look for an argument. But I guess some folk think they can say anything they like as they aren't meeting people face to face and I doubt if they would be so rude to people if they were acquainted with them in a sociable environment. People aren't essentially bad but they aren't essentially good either. I've noticed different people will post differently, for example there are those who like to be in control of others and tell them what they should say and think and will only post such comments but not actually contribute to the subject of the thread. Then there are others who take things personally and unless you agree with them they will just go on and on and on until you do agree with them - which won't happen because the more someone is in your face and personal towards you the less likely you are to accept them.

These are just a few examples. Not everyone has learnt the art of debate.

Hi Sun, good to see you.
Just read some of the posts that were once again quite out of order and indeed shocking. How quickly people turn and attack for no apparent reason.
Its all back to respect on the Forums.
I thought this was a dating site or could I be on the wrong site?
I am so happy I found my perfect man on CS and happy to tell the world.
Appreciate all the good wishes, and sorry for the people that feel they have been dropped like hot potatoes which is never the case with me.
Assumption again being the Mother of all F...ups. wave

WEll its back.
Back to no respect for folks on the forums.
No wonder so many have left. Some left as
they were the ones that were just gobby and
mouthy. Others could not suffer the s--t that
was been thrown for no good reason.
Shameful what is written on here.
It is not an art of debate its downright
bullying.
So we just lost another good member for
the miserable lot that have to come on
here and bicker, wish they would just get
a life.
The days of fun and frolics long gone from
CS not much left now.
Post if you wish on here, negative I will
just remove it, so dont even bother.

I love the Uk Forums, the people on this site have been warm, friendly and been very tolerant.
It would be a shame to see it go down the tubes, some of the threads posted are great, they allow people to meet and greet and have a lot of fun....

Another case of one rule for you and another rule for the masses?

Where was the respect for the member that you chose to make threads about?

Maybe you should take a look in the mirror before offering this kind of advise.

Not sure if this comment will be deemed positive/negative I guess I shall find out later and see if it has been censored.
