Is there a chance that you're too giving? People quickly realise when they can easily take advantage of someone, and most are not ashamed to exploit this weakness to the max.

If they were not friends, you haven't lost trust in friendship. You've lost trust in your ability to be discerning about what friendship is.

)when I meet new peeps I tend to trust them to behave as normal peeps, untill they prove otherwise, and assume that we will be friends and act accordingly, I understand fully what the op is talking about and I have to say that:

Being very intuitive helps me to sort out the real from the fake, once i know they are fake i dont give them the time of day

Maybe you dont let folks walk all over you SS..it takes a long time to grow a fruitful friendship...i have lots of aquaintances..but..very few close friends..There are many folks out there that others take for granted..

You can count your true friends usually on one hand, hang onto them cause they are like pure gold.
As for the aquaintances which most of us have they come and go and you soon find out who are genuine people and who are not.
Be wary and get rid of the users you know who they are.
