far out... ya wouldnt wanna be camping in that... I recall the last gympie muster, and early in the morning all the cars were covered with frost, believe me, it was quiet testy when one went out for a wee in the small hours...or did the walk of shame back to your tent.

Yep, as you get older, the colder weather just does not do it. GC in winter was awesome - not too cold like Canberra.
Re a comment earlier, imagine being homeless in Canberra in minus or close to minus, temperatures. Very sad. And yes, we have quite a few homeless here, just as many as anywhere else.
Feeling lucky right now I had the choice to go north and be warmer for a week, and lucky I could return to a full time secure job.
Unfortunately also returned to a sore throat.
On another matter,
- hope not too many people have gone away because of the 'incident', whatever that was.
Live and let live - some have strange and weird views, some just funny. If necessary for peace, ignore and move on. Banning does not necessarily mean forever anyway?
