CS is one of those places where you can get it all, good pals, dates, love and marriage. You can also get the jealousy, the nurds, the bullies and the downright nasties. Still I am not complaining, I found a great guy here, and it happened out of the blue. So good luck to you!! Keep on trucking.

Never. Been on this site since April or thereabouts. My opinion is, that if you are happy with who you are, would like to meet someone with an open mind, and advertise yourself 'honestly' as I did: disabled, large, bald, 55, and out of work (but solvent) your chances of meeting such a person in England (or anywhere else for that matter) are equivalent to a big fat zero!

Which enables me to sympathise with those men and women who feel that omittance is better than a straight lie, or who (not having a degree in Spin Doctoring) have resorted to a lie (shame upon those hypocrites who claim 'they' don't and who are quick to criticise others). I don't endorse lying as a rule, but on this site I can understand it.

Furthermore, according to one of the polls I read in the Forums, men and women of all ages seem to be hunting for both 'love' and 'money'. I think that exposure puts paid to those of us who are out of work. Although I am not such a fatalist/pessemist as to believe that this applies to everybody of course, although

True love surely means 'just that'? It doesn't necessarily come wrapped up in any kind of a package, neither material and/or financial. And what would happen if 'true love' happened to those who appear to expect (or who hope for or aspire to) financial security in a prospective partner. What would be the outcome of their search if the other had no material wealth, comparitive or excessive income, and an incompatible lifestyle?

Is that what it's really all about .. 'lifestyle'? If so, then its not 'true love' which is being sought, it's something else entirely!

If you have had the opportunity to actually chat with someone on CS then you are either very lucky or exceptionally gifted. Most people I have encountered on line were not capable of conducting a conversation, let alone one in good English and , of the one or two who tried/try to communicate, they were worth far more in my estimation than those who are reaaly seeking a compatible 'lifestyle partner whose income and assets are comparitive witheir own or, greater.

Actually Wow, is right, participating in the forums brings out "you" and if someone is interested, they will contact you - I have been contacted through my participation in the forums, and my fingers are crossed... but emails .. up and down like a mad woman's nighty is all I can say...

Yes I met Mr. G. on here, and we are going strong now,
better than ever.
Now here in Germany almost 4mths. Wow.
So this is not a place of all gossip, chat and tease.
It does work.
You just need to find the right person.

Thanks Sailfree - now that my daughter has got her Drivers Licence and independence I will be out of here so fast and take off over the mountains for the odd weekend away. It is well overdue.
