We've had the Dems in charge, we've had the Reps in charge. Show me a difference in anything but the talking points.

My friend it is my opinion that the only truly stupid people in our nation are the ones who side with one party over the other because they do so in opposition to the fact that neither party does the average Jane or Joe a darned bit of good. Like I said above both parties say what their base wants to hear and then does nothing.

I heard from someone in another thread that they can find employment in Alaska 14 hours a day paying 50k a year and that they should stop complaining. That there is so much work there that it can reduce the unemployment numbers from 10% to 6%.

I am aware of this announcement, I was called by several friends and family, including my Mother.
Even making this statement has created massive effect all over the USA. I am truly concerned where this country is going. I am not one to get involved in politics but this is major. Even if things stay the same, which is already unacceptable I am searching my brain to decide if I should move away, as far as I know I will wake up in the next few years,or months and find out that I am not allowed to leave a country that was based on freedom, this is not a free country any more. The going is getting pretty strange. I just wish that I could see our country get it's act together.
