hey shell - i still dont have any dates. gathering some interests so to speak. maybe we can do a simultaneous party here in melbourne and there in qld? - not sure.
the funds will go to a fledgling not for profit agency overseas. i just got back from volunteering there for 5 weeks at a marine sanctuary teaching primary school kids in the pacific islands about marine conservation. i know its not a bit cause like cancer, world peace etc.. but i have a strong affection for the sea and children.

yeah, initially we tried to educate the fisherfolk but the resistance was too strong so we decided to work on the little future fisherfolk. heheh... they are more receptive and equally enthusiastic.
definitely a joint effort would be easier for all as i wouldnt want anyone to spend money on airfare. i'll pm you with a link to their website so you can learn more about the org. that kool?
