mustbnutz: As a matter of fact we may have made a huge mistake in doing so..... Some folks still to this day believe that he was part of the embassy takeover in 1979....I personally think he was involved based on hostage accounts at the time, but the US seems to put political correctness ahead of good sense.
im sure hes on a hit list, when out of office, might stay for life, knowin it.
I noticed that some left the room before he even got into the meat of the speech. I think they pre-planned it, to leave the room. France was the last to leave, then reporters said they watched the rest of the speech on monitors, lol.
As world leaders go, I like the guy. Most of what he says about the world is pretty much the truth. And that beats western politicians by a long shot.
I think some of his religious rantings reflect the fact that he has to maintain good graces with the religious establishment in Iran. It is still an Islamic republic, even though it is not nearly as fanatic as it was back in the days of the Ayatollah Khoumeini.
His message was entirely globalist, but more sincere than the US globalists. Not a call to fascism, but more a call to genuine global world citizenship.
But we know that the one-world globalist beast has many heads and they aren't really in agreement about anything much other than their initial assigned role of destroying Babylon.
I think Ahmadinejad may well have an important role in creating the beast coalition. But I don't think he'll turn out to be the AC himself. He's not right for that part. Too sincere.

You can`t be serious....Did you pick up on the part of the Twelfth Iman.He would love to speed that process up by bringing on world destruction.....He fits that role perfectly.....

what was their point? No one threw a shoe?!
HL
Their points are: I am civilized & fighting for the name but I can’t allow you to air your view. I claim for freedom of speech but if you talk I will not listen to you. I preach for democracy & openness but don’t ever dare to talk about me; it’s only me who can talk about you.

But they let him talk! He just had to talk to himself!!!!!!!!!!!
I really liked what he said about the UN security council. It's ridiculous that a handful of countries are able to totally invalidate the will of the rest of the world. I'm sure most of the people of the world would be glad to see that situation corrected.

venusenvy: Yes you are and in fact you do it often...YOU asked for opinions PEEPS are giving them...Deal! And I dont need lessons on either "behavior" nor decorum from you of all people.
"We have a very diverse group on CS, from all around the world.
I would really like to know...
What do you think about what he says?"
This is ALL I asked for opinion on. I wrote what you quoted for the very reason that at that time, not one single person had given me an opinion of what the man said in his speech. Instead, they were calling names and putting him down. As the OP of this thread, I have the right to clarify what opinions I would like to receive here.
It's typical really, people here don't read and follow instructions. If people want to diss this man, they need to start their own thread and battle it out there while they bash him.
I am simply clarifying Venus, no need to start bashing on me. Me of all people? Geeze, you make me sound like a bad person. why are you so upset? Only cos I pointed out what my point was? Why so defensive? No reason for it girl, chill.
Also, I work 4 jobs and am rarely on here, so it would be impossible for me to do it often. Perhaps I am misunderstood by people on here, often? I'm quite simple really, just don't read between the lines. I mean what I say, at face value.
mad presdent with out remotcontrol,he was infront of international sociaty but his speech system was not balanced with the stage. He was out of diplomatic character....don't waste time for him.

mustbnutz: So what you are telling me is that in the US when we don`t like what a particular party says we put them up on charges and then sentence them to prison?
As far as any part of his speech that I liked....I like the part about people getting along. However this guy has zero credability in that department, since he and his regime and other regimes would be happy to wipe off the face of the earth a particular country that sits next to a hotbed of terrorist activity that his country supplies with the necessary weapons to do so. I suppose that is the brand of brotherly love that he speaks about.
In answer to your first question here, "Yes" is my answer, if they are lucky. If unlucky, they are killed.
"Yes", I liked the part about people getting along also. So, you are expressing that the man's walk does not match his talk. I agree, but that isn't what I want to discuss, but a good point made. Thanks!
Ah, are you referring to Israel? Yes, he mentioned them quite often and I believe he had quite a bit of anger sent in their direction through the expression of his words, and the Zionist Jews.
As for brotherly love, or any other type of love, if you love, you don't kill, and that includes killing one's self. Yes, lots of words were spoken about love, very nice words we could all live by and perhaps get along?

Enlighten me on the names of these people that we have imprisoned and killed here in the US because we did not like the content of their speech.

Well Ray, I will not go as far as you did, to say that I like the guy, as I don't like him as a person or as a world leader, but I did like the words he spoke, his seemingly sincerity, and his passion.
Yes, I caught his total global message, the true message of what globalism should really be motivated towards. If it were, I may be onboard with the idea, however, I am not. I don't want global world citizenship.
I agree he would not be the anti-christ, I would leave that to the Pope. jmo
Thanks for your comment Ray, it's sincerely appreciated.

Yes, I have seen many just like them. Some used to be state representatives but have lost their seats. Perhaps many more will be replaced soon? Also, have you noticed... their followers act just like them.
I would prefer to walk through life experiencing and sharing peace, love and harmony. Tis so much sweeter not to sew discord. Love changes things and that's change I can believe in!
