"When you lose someone you can't live without, and your heart gets badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of a beloved person. But this is also the good news. They live forever, in your broken heart that doesn't seal back up. And you come through. It's like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather is cold—but you learn to dance with the limp." ---Anne Lamott

Time is the healer that will mend the 'limp', until the limp has gone, you can never love anyone with the whole of your heart.

But, OP. read this:

Forum Thread Moderation Guidelines: These 2 moderator options should be used sparingly... to maintain respect and tolerance in your thread while still allowing difference of opinion and lively discussion. Good use of these tools will result in popular threads; misuse will result in threads that no one posts in. Offensive threads or posts will still be subject to site staff decision.

You can't go hiding ALL of the posts, especially when your OP consists of a quote and no input from yourself.

I like EageleWoman and she posted a thread some time back and it is about her rules on her thread. I am not as blunt as her rules and I admire her for expressing her mind as she does. I also replied on her post agreeing that though I enjoy my freedom expressing my thoughts, feeling, opinions, convictions here, I still feel responsible for what my thread leads to being the author of it. I post my threads here as I seriously seek answers to my own questions. And that I feel most of my sentiments may be also the questions of single people. My threads are for the thinking. Thread readers as well know if you are.

It's been my privilege that I don't know who is famous here or who is here often so I can hide or ban them if I need or want to.

Many well known interactive forums do have approval process first before they post your comments. That's why hide/ban options are here.

Zo!....we're not singles for nothing...peace, fun, and love and free all the more!

Maybe we have different definitions of freedom. For me freedom means having choices and yet choosing where you shouldn't lead yourself to hell. But this would be another thread. For the thinking. Have fun yáll!

When I was younger; I certainly thought that way but now at my age; I just don't care whether someone comes in my life or leaves it and I dance without a limp very happily. dancing

Yep, at our age these things seem pretty minor. The goal is to enjoy life and one can certainly do it with or without someone. hug
