jaette: it cant be that bad if you can afford the internet, so you work and still get supported by the system, the mind boggles

frustrated

Its funny though as the internet can be rather handy when it comes to job searching and also for keeping track of the emails sent and those received in relation to that.

But methinks you like to rattle people with your comments and entice tension too. So have fun with your stereotyping and count yourself very lucky that you and none of your family and friends are on benfits.

It is impossible than none of his family are on benefits! Every family in the country has somebody on some sort of government support! wine

kennyfromdublin: My kids mum is absolutely appalled at the entitlement culture taht exists in this country we need a culture of self reliance not a state sponsored dependency culture in Ireland. In America in the schools they actually teach the concept of self reliance to the kids, imagine trying to teach that in some working class areas in Ireland.

thumbs up

on reading here im not sure how to reply to your messages..
but what i will say is i hope for you and your family that you never have that dark day when you cant afford a pint of milk or a loaf of bread to feed your family. I am a loan parent and not by choice I may add.. I have worked hard in raring my children and caring for others too. that was until the tiger crashed... now Im just about making ends meet at end of the week and cant find a job and believe me i have sent enough cv,s out. I have returned to education to better myself, on getting qualified im still no better off. still cant get work.. and you say we should follow americia, do you not think there is enough homeless people on our streets,
I really hope it never comes to your door... very mad frustrated
