When Robert Kennedy was assassinated it dominated the airways and on the radio station I was listening to at the time they had just concluded airing the news and went back to the regularly scheduled music program and this song came on. It played for about 20 seconds when they abruptly took it off and played something else. Funny how little events can stay with you for your whole life.

i disagree...the country loved jack...he was the most charismatic one we ever had in office..mom a ho and daddy was a bootlegger....the typical american gangster family...still they were mourning why be reminded that president christ was dead...lmao
