Still awake here in B.C. It is still fairly early here (8:20pm) so some of us are still up!!!! Still a pretty quiet night though.
It's 11:30pm here in Toronto...and i have to work in the morning...talk about addictions!!!

Actually I was getting a complex in the international forums because a lot of the time when I post the thread ends. No one posts after and it just winds into the past.

I think a major theme here is perception. It is interesting: ideas of closeness, feelings of aloneness, understanding of distance, and then add on cyberspace and time zones. But I hear from some who spend time in the wilderness that it makes them feel a great sense of connection.
I also have spent time in the wild. I was never lonely because nature was all around me.
What I am lonely for now is a different part of nature.
