I definetly have a real tree. My daughter and I picked it up today. And its the most perfect christmas tree ever. Best part of christmas, is decorating the tree. Its a load of fun. We listen to christmas songs. yes a favorite is the mckenzie brothers, 12 days of christmas. And drink eggnog. While they put up memories. I love christmas!! And today, a horse drawn carriage came up our street. Yes I live in a small town in paradise. And my neighbores all go caroling the week before christmas in a horse drawn carriage. I'm so lucky. Everyone in town puts up so many lights, and their is always someone going for a walk, arm in arm. to look at the decorations. Paradise.

Honesty! That would depend on whose point of view we are talking about. I would be kind, clear, and decisive. It is already cruel, so be as kind as you can. But be clear this is it. Do not drag him through things by saying lets be friends, or we can talk. This will only make you feel less guilty, and will give him false hope. Instead, be the opposite, and just call him in 6months time, if you want to be friends. And if he gets mad, don't fight, just listen. Then walk away.

I am a bit confused on what everyone is saying. So I'll just respond to the original question. Belief, if different for everyone. Church, is community. Both I beleive are important. Paul Tillich thinks we have lost faith. I beleive we beleive more strongly, since we are thinking for ourselves. It is true nobody goes to church, and that is sad. But that is not a loss of faith. That is a loss of community.
What a shock for Dion, getting in. But they did predict it 6 months ago. I was for Bob, very charismatic, good man. But I think Dion has good ideas, even if he is not the best public speaker. Did anybody watch the elections? Or have an opinion? Or where you upset it cut into your hockey game?
My advice Dougie, is to let it pass. It could just be an excuse. People need an excuse to break up. I'm sorry, she couldn't care for you. There was no way you could have known. But your doing fine. Your going through a hard time, just take care of yourself, and get yourself through it.
