Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Disturbing but conceivable story about our possible future.

I recently re-read Herman Wouk's "Winds of War"/War and Rememberance" 2 book series. Kind of soapy in places, but great historical fiction.

My 3 most favorite authors are: Mary Higgins Clark (if you love good suspense and drama her books are great), Dean Koonz (If you like weird stuff and horror) and James Patterson (good suspense books)

One book I would love to get my hand on is the "Bill Clinton" book. I never had the chance to read it yet and I have always loved this guy. Maybe I will get it after the holidays. Anyone ever read it?

I've been reading VC Andrews since i was about 15...lol...she died quite some years back, but a ghost writer uses her manuscripts...but if you notice all of her books are of the same story line...but still great reads...

My very first book by her was "Flowers in the Attic"...I was babysitting for someone and she had the book there and i picked it up to read when the kids went to bed...and have been reading her ever since...

Her most popular book this season was "Santa Cruise" Trace...see if you can get your hands on it...supposed to be very good...

Well both Bill and Hilary Clinton have books out...to me there life was "public" enough and i don't need to read "there" side...he already showed us how much truth there was to "his" side of the story....roll eyes

Its the same with Dr. Phil..I used to read alot of his self help books until his whole family got involved in writing...now i just see it as a cash grab...

Hmmm didn't hear about that one. Thanks for telling me. I will look into it for sure :)

As for Bill. I know what he did by lying and all was wrong but to me its their personal life. None of the publics business if he had an affair or not. That is between him and his wife and the people involved in my opinion. It would be like us for example. Should we lose our jobs because one of us was unfaithful to our partners? But anyways that is another topic I will save for another day LOL

As for Dr.Phil. I used to read his books too and I still love watching his shows but yea as for his family all writing and etc..I find it too much. Although I would love to make that much money too LOL

I will wholeheartedly agree that what what the general public does with their private life is their business...however Bill Clinton is not the "general public" he was the President of the United States..and knew when he took that position his life would be under "scrutiny" and therefore had a duty to live his life as such...it was part and package of being the President....dunno

I usually read thrillers, suspense or law books.
Sandra Brown, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc.
My favourite 3 books are Primal Fear, Rose Madder and Kiss the Girls.
All three of these books I would highly suggest you read. Primal Fear is a Law book - but TWISTED! I loved it!
Check 'em out!
