amahlala: I know that most of the points might not be accurate but I am curious, how is electing a new president recover the economy?

Because the old one stifles business by forcing unrealistic regulations on them or, the fear of same as well as untenable expenses such as health care and such. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of jobs that would be created with the pipeline project from Canada but, is stalled in order to cater to environmental groups.

amahlala: Does not the new president or incumbent who is re-elected inherit the mess?

Nope. The incoming President fought tooth and nail to have the privilege to correct it. Just like Obama fought tooth and nail to set your country on course but proved he didn't know what he was doing.

In short, nobody 'inherits' anything - they take the job on knowing full well their duties. They, from the 'git go' are perfectly free to step aside to let another who has a clue take the reins.

gininitaly: Let's not delude ourselves into thinking this is a present day crisis, NO, this is the culmination of a 100 yrs of concerted effort by the global capitalists. Why John F. Kennedy was assassinated:

1. Because he was restructuring the CIA so it could no longer be used by the ruling powers ("the capitalist cabal") to carry out foreign and domestic terrorism

2. Because he was going to restructure the Federal Reserve System so it could no longer be used by the ruling powers to manipulate the economy

3. Because he was going to shut down the war in Vietnam - a war that brought the ruling powers $500 billion in armaments sales

4. Because the international capitalist cabal, which has ruled the U.S. since at least 1913, wanted to regain its total stranglehold on the country

Until you understand what they are willing to do to maintain their control of you and me.... you are just not seeing straight. Presidents are either puppets or full supporters of the mindset, whoever attempts to fight them is eliminated... that's the way it's been.

Welcome to the world you really live in.

Can you actually identify the 'ruling powers' or is this a leftist version of the boogeyman?confused

gininitaly: Hello.

"You may remember that in 1851 the New York Herald Tribune under the sponsorship and publishing of Horace Greeley, employed as its London correspondent an obscure journalist by the name of Karl Marx.

We are told that foreign correspondent Marx, stone broke, and with a family ill and undernourished, constantly appealed to Greeley and managing editor Charles Dana for an increase in his munificent salary of $5 per installment, a salary which he and Engels ungratefully labeled as the "lousiest petty bourgeois cheating."

But when all his financial appeals were refused, Marx looked around for other means of livelihood and fame, eventually terminating his relationship with the Tribune and devoting his talents full time to the cause that would bequeath the world the seeds of Leninism, Stalinism, revolution and the cold war."

Some secret society Gin. He's talking about communism.rolling on the floor laughing

That's where the idiocy of you tube flowers come in. As soon as some guy in a basement puts some printed tag lines on it, it becomes an 'official you tube proof source' for whatever purpose until somebody actually checks it out as I have.

Gin, a smart rather than a foolish person would have caught it in a second had she actually listened to it herself but obviously was drawn to the title and so probably thought this was proof of the big conspiracy which, of course it was not.

That we are part of a directed pattern that has lead us to this moment in time. I agree with most of the 50 points, except the Obama Blama garbage, he's a shill, bought and paid for the powers that be.

That's quite a stretch. He's asking the press to be discerning in divulging sensitive material in the national interest, during that phase of the Cold War.

""Every newspaper now asks itself, with respect to every story: "Is it news?" All I suggest is that you add the question: "Is it in the interest of the national security?" And I hope that every group in America--unions and businessmen and public officials at every level-- will ask the same question of their endeavors, and subject their actions to the same exacting tests.""

Ok I guess you are referring to this:

"I have no intention of establishing a new Office of War Information to govern the flow of news. I am not suggesting any new forms of censorship or any new types of security classifications. I have no easy answer to the dilemma that I have posed, and would not seek to impose it if I had one. But I am asking the members of the newspaper profession and the industry in this country to reexamine their own responsibilities, to consider the degree and the nature of the present danger, and to heed the duty of self-restraint which that danger imposes upon us all.

Every newspaper now asks itself, with respect to every story: "Is it news?" All I suggest is that you add the question: "Is it in the interest of the national security?" And I hope that every group in America--unions and businessmen and public officials at every level-- will ask the same question of their endeavors, and subject their actions to the same exacting tests."

Which was pertaining to the cold war, but he also reiterated the importance of a free, open and unbiased press for the American people.

"Without debate, without criticism, no Administration and no country can succeed--and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian lawmaker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy. And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment-- the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution- -not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply "give the public what it wants"--but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion."

This means greater coverage and analysis of international news--for it is no longer far away and foreign but close at hand and local. It means greater attention to improved understanding of the news as well as improved transmission. And it means, finally, that government at all levels, must meet its obligation to provide you with the fullest possible information outside the narrowest limits of national security--and we intend to do it.

He also made a point of mentioning:

The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.

I suppose everyone interprets and perceives those words the way they choose, it's not like we can have a fireside chat with him to discuss the finer points can we? Obviously certain 'Others' did not agree with his viewpoint on many matters.

Anyone can extrapolate on this speech all they like when it's taken out of historical context.

Albertaghost: We're discussing the Kennedy speech. It occurred long prior to Fox coming on the scene. The reason why we were discussing it was becaue Gin stated there was a 'ruling class' that as responsible for his death and, used this speech as proof of a 'secret society.'

Please use the link to the speech if you wish to discuss further.

1.Historian's Fallacy occurs when one assumes that decision makers of the past viewed events from the same perspective and having the same information as those subsequently analyzing the decision.

2.False Attribution– an advocate appeals to an irrelevant, unqualified, unidentified, biased or fabricated source in support of an argument.

I didn't accept any version except the one speech she provided. What the hell are you looking at man?

And sometimes not having a clue is a problem for those who seek to ever have an upper hand and find themselves lacking as you have here.
