I honestly think that I need more sleep. I am having trouble following how posting this link has lead to a Secret Society, Marxism, Communism, journalism (red, left or purple) and now "polite" name calling.

amahlala: Honestly? You believe that? How often have you talked with individuals who are currently receiving assistance or who have nothing left here in the US? None of them care about the Tea Party, Republicans or Democrats, they just want somewhere warm to live and to feed themselves and their families...even work, if they can find it....

Well, you are in Kansas, you can read the book "what´s the matter with kansas" to understand who the facist republicans got the stupid american average mind. the only thing the tea baggers support is "less welfare state, less taxes for rich people". ah, yes: and less taxes for the middle and poor class. the goal is clear: if you have to pay 1000 dolars in taxes, the tea baggers say "you will pay 800, 20% less". beautiful, until you learn the wealthy person who pays 1,000,000 will pay 200,000 less, so, you save 200 and the rich 200,000, but you are stupid and you dont know anything about accounting cause you only watch fox news ha ha ha. And when you ask for some help, there is no money for you....yes, tea criminals.

When a supposedly intelligent adult stoops to "name-calling" and/or remarks on an individuals' intelligence, it speaks volumes to others about his/her own intelligence and manners.scold

Well the obvious answer is to repeal the Bush tax cuts for everyone!
(Actually, that seems fair. Get the poor and middle class to pay more and the upper class to pay a bit more than they were paying. See who gets hurt the most.

Also knock out that damn earned income tax credit. It's sure as hell not "earned". It's a give away. grin

fromspain20: Well, first, take your passport, if you have, and travel a little, my friend. See the world. Even in spain, my country, where we are poor, with huge economical problems and 22% of the people is unemployed, even here, i can go to the hospital right now and i will have medical care for free, or i can go to the doctor for free. And nobody will disconnect any cable to kill my grandmother, this is the kind of stupid propaganda only a tea bagger in the middle of nowhere in indiana can believe. Even you can go to our hospitals for free. My god, dont have you the americans the minimum curiosity to travel and check by yourself how is the medical care here in europe????
And yes, we pay taxes, i pay 23% but i am happy cause i get a lot of things for that money and the wealtiest pay 50%. Of course, you havent been in europe, may be some days in a fast tour in paris or inthe army, and of course your source of information is probably a ridiculous church and fox news or some terrorist ayatollah there in some local radio. I know your country, i have been 4 times, i traveled there and i cant still understand how is posible the richest and more powerful country in the world to be so terrorist against their people about welfare. and how is posible the poor people to be tea baggers...my gob....poor america, please, travel...travel. not to mexico, travel to europe and pls, learn some spanish or german or french to speak with real people.

What f-cking reason would I have to visit a poor assed nation's hospitals (your words, not mine) If I were visiting abroad, it sure as hell wouldn't be to go on a tour of spanish hospitals.

So only Europeans are real people huh? Interesting...very interesting.

I have dual citizenship with usa and italy. When I'm in italy i have access to their national health care coverage, the same as any resident there. I've found that kind of health care lacking compared to what you will find here.

if europeans had heeded Margaret Thatcher your society may be structured different today and without all your failing socialist programs (that obama wants to adopt here). Thatcher once said, "the problem with socialism that sooner or later you run out of other people's money."
BTW our unemployment is probably more like 15%.

I do get a bit worn hearing about people who have visited the US for a week and feel like they're experts on the U.S.

Seldom do I make indepth comments about how most countries run themselves. Because, well actually because I don't give a sh-t. (well, other than Dimmark)

fromspain20: Well, my nation is poor, you can go to germany or france, the system is the same. The reason to go is easy: to learn, to know, to see. Do you mthink the world is the stupid description you watch in fox news or you hear to your ayatollah in your church? You should travel to europe to see a social system when we are free, we are safe and we pay taxes, always less than the wealthy people do, and we have a good welfare state. And when you see all this ois posible and we arent comunist ha ha ha, may be you will change your mind. But if your world is seen by a terrorist like rimbaugh or facist like romey or i-cant-believe-such-a**hole-exists-like pallin, well, you have a problem.
About the languages, i tell you to learn some foreign language to be able to speak with more people than your guide. It is pathetic to see americans looking for english speaking people in europe, but my english also is not very good, but enough to speak with real people like you, cause real people is you, of course, but also we, the europeans, are real people...but what do you know about us?? Nothing, in your very narrow point of view we are comunist or socialist or we kill our families and we pay taxes for nothing and america is the heaven...my god...
