curly28: I love the smell of cow dung in the paddock nice country smell & knowing it is great for the garden too plus been mucking out horse dung for many years I still mess about with manure at work.

Doesn't bother me at all some people smell worse than animal manure you def are a country boy at heart robplum

yeah its good stuff, better than lavender, though i planted four Indian Yellow Mangosteen trees in NSW, there fruit wouldn't ripen as wasn't warm enough but the aroma was just a wee tiny bit better than cow dung.

I doubt that I will live to 100, making 18 was enough of a chore!

Live each day with gratitude, never take it for granted. None of us know what tomorrow will bring, and I must admit, I dont want to know what is going to happen tomorrow!

yeah funny that how crime was so bad ,it must have been easy pickings for crooks when someone had a stash of gold lol, they just shoot em.i went to a library up near alexandra and read about a certain area that i go to prospecting, and there was a heap of chinese miners there, and a few of them got beat up bad and their takings stolen, mustnt have been much of a polic force then or the punishment was light

i reckon there must have been army training in the bush around jericho ,becuase ive found a heap of 3.03 shells with 1942 stamped on them, and ive got a three o,and ive never come across a shell yet with 1942 stamped on it,and a funny thing when i was looking around matlock i found a beautiful wilkinson sword bayonet made in 19o7,so someone from the army has either lost it or its been misplaced ,it was deep in clay,a bit rusty but i cleaned it up and polished it, its hangin on my wall now
