josingleinspain: So on Chrismasday one of my life long froends die in a car crash from work on his way home...... He and his wife was and is the only family I ever knew. They were always there every step of my life. My support my soft place to fall. She was so ill for months and I was broken from fear of losing her. Now he is gone just like that no warning just gone. How do you go on when you have lost something so wonderful in your life. How please tell me.

How can you put in words a person that ment so much.
How can you explain what a huge part they played in your life.
How their life made yours a better place.
How the joy they brought to your life will live on even if they're gone.
Now that he has left this world he will live on in the memories that only he could create.
The love he gave to others everyday he was here.
The moments that he spend helping others selflessly.
The jokes that rolled off his tongue everyday.
He will never be gone just in another place.
He will never be forgotten always just a memory away.
He was my dearest friend my brother closer any other.
I will keep you in my heart my friend I will never forget what you gave me in my life.
Now rest in peace dearest Gert and thank you for the love you always gave me and shared in my life.
Through good and bad you were always close.
I will always miss you in this life but know oneday we will meet again.
Go in peace my friend love you always. xxx

Christmas six years ago, I had the best Christmas dinner with my ex husband and ex parent-in-laws. I thought I was the luckiest woman on earth having lovely husband and great in-law family especially I came from dysfunctional family - it was like a dream came true. Not long after that I found out that I had to sign divorce paper because my ex husband had a new affair and wanted to marry his pregnant girlfriend.
Time has passed and is eventually everything will be okay, this feeling of lost something wonderful in your life regardless your love one walked away or because of the death and its recovery take time. That is all.
