and took my son away. i haven't seen my son in 2 years. ive tried to start over, but all i get is used and cheated on. im a good guy,loyal,honest and faithful. i live by the values of a countryboy. i am a family man and hard worker, whos not afraid of showing i care.
Is there any women who honestly wants a guy like that or do they want jerks? when i reflect on all the guys that my xgirlfriends left me for. they are abussive and liars and cheaters. its left me wife a bad outlook on love. but who knows anymore,lol.none of us are perfect, i guess.

Trinity I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost a child too many years ago and I know that pain. My advice to you is this. Live each day like it is your last, love as much as you can with no expectations of anything in return. Love yourself enough to let yourself heal. Don't be looking for another woman until you know you are strong again. It is really quite a strengthening experience to just be alone and learn to see the world thru new eyes.
The most amazing things can happen when you least expect it. Trust that the goodness inside you will attract a good woman... when the time is right. Let the past go now... and do not harbour hatred or bitterness for your exwife. In fact, in my experience the most liberating thing is to forgive. She may not deserve it but the forgiveness is for your benefit not hers. You don't want to carry negativity with you... it is a burden and a cross you don't need to bear.
I wish you well. I think you have lots to give. Just love who you are right now and that special lady will recognize your goodness when she sees it. God bless you!

I am not "down" on women, but I will agree with Carl on some points. The scale is not weighed evenly between men and women--even in custody hearings where it is absolutely clear that the woman is in the wrong, judges tend to rule in their favor, especially where child care is concerned. Men are infuriated at the way they are treated by women and the systems that protect them for good reason. In an employment setting, when a female worker escalates her voice, showing anger, frustration, people just kind of smile and look the other way, excusing it as her just having a bad day, or whatever else excuse. It is not taken very seriously, and she gets away with it time after time. If and when a male employee raises his voice, or shows any frustration, why, all of a sudden he needs anger management, or he is hauled into the office (especially if the supervisor is a woman) and told that he is out of control. The scale is not balanced fairly, and men have many, many reasons to think as Carl does. We are expected to be perfect while women do whatever they want, and society, i.e. courts, encourage this inequality. It’s a sad fact we all think mostly of our selves, self-cherishing, we expect others to respect our craziness, our mistruths and delusions.
I only say Carl don’t give up hope, somewhere there is someone you’ll feel good about and experience impermanent happiness with for whatever short time you spent together, death awaits all no matter what delusions we mistakenly hold solid.
Take no notice of the selfish and appeasing comments, for they talk crap, stay your ground Carl a Lady might one day appear
